You can find Asian Institute of E-Commerce Alaminos Campus at Siapno Bldg. Marcos Ave. Brgy. Palamis with contact number (075) 551-6263.

They have been successful to have a surprising 500+ enrollees on their first school year last 2004 and instantly been considered as a competitive school in Alaminos (in terms of population).

Their first main attraction was their first marketing strategy wherein they offered scholarships which is a 100% discount on tuition fee which is by the way just P99 and they have been generous enough to cover all their students with these scholarship. But take note, you still have to pay certain laboratory fees and other miscellaneous fees for each trimester.

The following are the Tesda authorized courses they are offering:

AIE is part of the AIE College in Calasiao, Pangasinan, which has also several campuses in the Northern Luzon. AIE Alaminos branch in particular, is known for their all air-conditioned classrooms and “scholarships”, but aside from these, as far as I know, they also have reputable instructors, good curriculum and extra-curricular activities. But should still work harder to improve and complete their facilities to obtain quality hands-on education suitable for their courses.

Anyway, aside from some controversies over scholarships, accreditation and other sensitive issues that has tarnished its reputation, AIE is still struggling to live up to its vision, that is to give affordable and yet quality education to students.

And, as we are always saying education is really not affordable. Scholarships and discounts are really part of a school’s marketing strategy. Just be sure that you had absolutely understood their terms and conditions before enrolling.

ACLC Alaminos

AMA Computer Learning Center (ACLC) Alaminos City is located at the Second Floor of Bannet Building in Marcos Ave. It had started several years ago and is a part of the AMA Education System.

According to TESDA Website ACLC Alaminos City is authorized to offer the following programs:

FYI, since the courses in ACLC are qualified under the technical-vocational category or the full curriculum diploma programs, they are still under TESDA and not CHED.

ACLC in Alaminos City claims to offer affordable quality IT education, (and promises immediate employment opportunity).

So, to the Ilocanos of the West, if you prefer to take IT Education, you could always visit their school and do your inquiries personally. The population of students in ACLC is not that high.

Well, just a piece of my opinion, its best to understand carefully their payment system, because education is not really that affordable.

You should also put in to your mind that, it is always best to receive failing grades if you really deserve it. And, just like in all schools, students should not always depend on their instructors if they want to learn, ‘coz it might just lead to disappointments. Once enrolled, nothing is wrong if you would insist to use but the best facilities, that’s what you have paid for in the first place. :-)
