Longanisa Ala 100 Islands
When you are in Alaminos City, you definitely have to buy and take home one of their best food products - the longanisa!

But sometimes I call it longanisa-de-toothpick… :-) because of the small bamboo stick that is used to separate one from another.
They are different from the sweet tasting longanisa we usually buy in the market, this one is full of spices, garlic and flavor, very tasty! And, I also learned that they are purely organic, with no artificial ingredients.

1 dozen is sold for P65, (in Manila the price is from P90 to P120) I got mine from Suki Market, just behind Nepo Mall (you can also buy it from there). The smell is really rich with flavors, so you better ask the seller to have your longanisa - de - Alaminos wrapped in papers/newspapers if you are going to travel, unless you wanted to smell its spicy aroma all through out your trip back home. :-)

And, if you are going to buy, try to look for these lovely ladies who gladly volunteered to pose while I was taking a shot. :-)
