Karla Paula Henry of Cebu is hailed as Miss Earth 2008 yesterday at Clark Expo Amphitheater in Pampanga.
The winning question was: What would they tell to the newly elected US President Barack Obama, if they would be given a chance to meet him?
Miss Earth 2008 was hosted by Billy Crawford, Rizza Santos (Miss Earth -Canada 2006) Priscilla Meirelles of Brazil (Miss Earth 2004 winner and girlfriend of John Estrada) during the pageant I just notice Priscilla looks chubbier than before or is it just because of her “maternity-like” gown?
Other winners were:
Miss Tanzania, Miriam Odemba was Miss Earth Air (1st runner-up)
Miss Mexico, Abigail Elizalde was Miss Earth Water (2nd runner-up)
Miss Brazil Tatiane Alves won Miss Earth Fire (3rd runner-up)

There is no exact date yet for the much awaited wedding of Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo. But no need to worry, all things are falling into places for the grand wedding and obviously the two are still very busy with their showbiz careers. Especially, Ryan Agoncillo who was given a big break to play the character role of Rigor in Pieta which is aired every weekdays after Wowowee at ABS-CBN Network, aside from his upcoming Pinoy Fear Factor: South America.
But Miss Judy Ann Santos, the 30-year-old actress admits that she and her fiancé have been busy with the many details that need to be attended to. “Iniisa-isa namin kapag meron kaming time. Inaayos namin yung mga detalyeng kailangan ayusin. Little details lang, hindi naman talagang yung big event na mangyayari. Yung mga importanteng detalye yung mga inuuna namin kasi hindi pala ganun kadali. Unang beses ko naman magpapakasal, eh malay ko ba naman sa mga papeles,” Judai admits.
Personally, I am already excited for this wedding of Miss Judy Ann Santos. FYI, I rarely watch Filipino movies, (since I rarely watch movies anyway, lol). But, if there is opportunity, I usually prefer to watch her movies (but) especially those with Piolo Pascual. J
